It’s coming. Passionflix gave Black Dagger Brotherhood fans reasons to get excited: the new season is officially coming in 2026.

As you can see, the teaser features a morphing blue eye that gives way to a message: “The Beast Lives.”
The new season is coming in 2026, following the release of Black Dagger Brotherhood season 1 in 2025. Passionflix CEO Tosca Musk elaborated on the show’s second season during an interview we did ahead of the Royally Screwed premiere. As you can see in the clip below, production is about to begin on the second season and she’s very excited about it.
The second book in J.R. Ward’s scintillating series is titled Lover Eternal. This is Rhage’s story. In the series, Rhage is portrayed by the talented Alexander Cubis.
Here’s the description of Lover Eternal from Amazon:

With production underway, we can only imagine that casting announcements will be coming in hot, so be sure to stay tuned for BDB news as it becomes available. We also don’t have a release date for the second season as yet, but if we had to venture a guess we’d imagine that a summer premiere is possible.
