The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3 at SDCC 2026

The Walking Dead: Dead City season 3 features Maggie and Negan’s fight for the future in New York City. But before the season premiere arrives, the show is taking over Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con 2026.

The Dead City panel takes place Friday, July 24, from 11:45am to 12:30pm in Hall H. Fans will be treated to a special sneak peek ahead of Sunday’s season premiere. Cast members in attendance include Lauren Cohan, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Aimee Garcia and Raúl Castillo. They’ll be joined by new showrunner and executive producer Seth Hoffman and executive producer Scott M. Gimple. The panel will be moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s Dalton Ross.

Later that evening, there will be a ticketed advance screening at The Loft at Petco Park. Fans who win the exclusive tickets will have a chance to watch the premiere after an introduction by the cast and the producers.

It’s worth noting that the season premiere is timed to the weekend of San Diego Comic-Con 2026, so TWD fans can expect to see a lot of exciting appearances and promotions in the week leading up to the premiere.

Here’s the synopsis from AMC:

“In season three, Maggie (Cohan) and Negan (Morgan) finally put aside their differences to build the first thriving community in Manhattan since the apocalypse, but when chaos in the city begins to arise, they are forced to question: have they learned from their old wounds or will their dark past spell doom for the entire city? ”

Who is in it?

Dead City features Lauren Cohan (Whiskey Cavalier) as Maggie Rhee and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Boys) as Negan. Logan Kim (Ghostbusters: Afterlife) returns as Hershel.

New to Dead City this season are Jimmi Simpson (Westworld), Raúl Castillo (Looking), Aimee Garcia (Lucifer) and Michael Emery (Birder).
