The cast that plays together stays together, and that’s absolutely the case with the cast of This Man, the Passionflix adaptation of Jodi Ellen Malpas’ bestselling novel. As filming begins in the UK, the cast has been having fun together on social media and it’s truly a gift to fans who have been waiting for the movie for a very long time.
This Man is the story of interior designer Ava O’Shea and the mysterious Jesse Ward, the Lord of the Manor. She has no idea what she’s in for when he requests her services to decorate the new wing of his massive country estate, but she knows from the start that being in the same room as The Lord is enough to turn her world upside down.
Passionflix recently announced that Kristy Dawn Dinsmore will bring Ava to life, joining Tyler Cook as Jesse.
Over the past few weeks, the cast has been having fun on social media. As soon as Ava’s casting was announced, Cook and Jay Hector (This Man’s Drew) enjoyed a little tete a tete:
Dinsmore posted a picture with Delaney Keith, who will bring Ava’s bestie Kate to life. Malpas commented that it’s like “real life footage of Ava and Kate.”
Charles Ambrose, who will play Jesse’s rival Mikael, has been getting his “patented sexy side eye” ready for Ava.

There’s something so fun about seeing actors playing around and teasing each other “in character” on social media. It’s often a good indication when a cast who gets along and enjoys interacting outside of work; if they get along outside of work, imagine their chemistry when they come together on screen.
