Jacob Lees Johnson has a new horror movie coming out. I See the Demon is the story of a woman, Lucy, who sees something strange in the night sky. When she arrives home, her friends are waiting to surprise her for her birthday, but something isn’t right. In fact, things are about to go terribly wrong.
According to the press release, I See the Demon takes place in “a futuristic alternate reality” that makes the sci-fi elements feel authentic and believable. It’s also rooted in the mumblecore movement with a focus on character development, natural performances and improvised dialogue.
