It’s a busy time at Passionflix right now with The Secret Life of Amy Bensen airing, Wait With Me in post-production and lots of other projects in development. One of those projects, of course, is the highly anticipated follow-up to the Gabriel’s Rapture trilogy. Gabriel’s Redemption took a break from filming for the holidays but now the Passionflix team is ready to get the gang back together to finish filming.
In a post on the Passionflix Instagram account, there’s a video of CEO and director of the Gabriel Series, Tosca Musk along with director of photography Denis Maloney, Giulio Berruti (Gabriel) and Melanie Zanetti (Julia) prepping a scene at a museum for Gabriel’s Redemption.
The caption reads, “Behind the scenes with Tosca and Denis as they plan out the next shot with Gabriel and Julia. Back to filming on January 17th!”
As with the previous trilogies, the Gabriel’s Redemption team will film all three movies at the same time. While there’s no release date for the first movie in the new trilogy, it’s very likely to arrive at some point this year.
It’s amazing to see the Gabriel Series cast continue this journey after all these years. The first movie, Gabriel’s Inferno Part I, arrived in the spring of 2020 when the world was a very different place. Six movies later and there’s no doubt that Zanetti and Berruti were destined to bring Julia and Gabriel to life.
