A bonafide tearjerker is heading to Passionflix. The Air He Breathes is the latest movie being adapted by the romance streaming service, adapted from the novel by bestselling author Brittainy Cherry.
The Air He Breathes premieres September 22, 2024, on the Passionflix platform. Passionflix optioned the movie in January 2021, and now it’s coming to life with director Rachel Annette Helson (The Engagement Dress) at the helm. The script was written by Cherry and Brian Frederick, who penned the scripts for other Passionflix favorites like The Secret Life of Amy Bensen, Lick and Seduction & Snacks.
Here’s a synopsis of the story in case you’re not familiar with it: “The Air He Breathes follows Elizabeth and Tristan, who find solace and healing in each other’s company after suffering devastating losses. As they navigate their grief and past traumas, they discover the power of love and second chances.”
The movie stars Ryan Carnes (Desperate Housewives) as Tristan, Kelcie Stranahan (Runaways) as Elizabeth and Charlotte Ann Tucker (Cobra Kai) as Emma.
Be ready to watch this one with plenty of tissue, because it will bring out the tears!
