As San Diego Comic-Con 2025 approaches, we’re getting ready to learn more about the new AMC series The Talamasca, a new spinoff firmly rooted in the network’s Anne Rice Immortal Universe, which currently includes Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches. Guy Anatole is set to be the lead character in the series and we’re learning more and more about him every day. So who is Guy Anatole? We’re compiling everything we know about him below.
Nicholas Denton was announced as the lead in The Talamasca back in September 2024. Denton recently starred as Valmont in the Starz series Dangerous Liaisons. He also appeared in Glitch, Utopia and My Life Is Murder, as well as Ron Howard’s 2024 film Eden.
Here’s what we know so far about Guy Anatole from AMC:
“Guy is brilliant, handsome and sharp on the surface, but he’s always known his mind works a little differently. On the cusp of graduating law school, he is approached by a representative of the Talamasca, a secretive agency that monitors and protects us from the supernatural world. When Guy learns that the Talamasca has been tracking him since his childhood, he falls headlong into a world of secret agents and immortal beings who, up to now, have maintained a fragile balance with the mortal world. But for that balance to hold, and for Guy to survive, he will have to learn to embrace the dark, treacherous depths of his true and singular self.”
We’ll be adding new things about Guy as we learn more about who he is and why the Talamasca has been tracking him for so long. Keep checking back for more updates!
The Talamasca premieres this October on AMC.
