Alison Sweeney is back with an all-new holiday movie that’s part of the 2021 Countdown to Christmas celebration on Hallmark Channel. In Open By Christmas, a woman discovers an unopened letter from high school and goes on a journey to discover who sent it to her. To her surprise, the journey becomes a big part of the adventure.
What is Open By Christmas About?
Nicky (Sweeney) is helping her parents prepare for a big move. She discovers a card from high school written by a secret admirer who shares how they feel about her. Somehow she never knew the letter existed so she decides to track down the sender to say thank you even though years have passed. Her best friend Simone (Erica Durance) encourages her, offering support to Nicky while trying to maintain a good relationship with her teenage son.
It’s not easy for Nicky and Simone, but they work together to find answers and support each other, making their friendship even stronger.
