Fans of the Anne Rice Immortal Universe eagerly watched as preparation got underway for an offsite activation for Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches at San Diego Comic-Con 2023. Now we’re getting to see inside the activation for the first time and it’s nothing short of magnificent.
If you’ve been following me on Twitter you know that I’ve been getting pictures of the giant wraps as they were going up on the Gaslamp Hilton across from the San Diego Convention Center.
Thanks to a series of serendipitous events, I was able to get some photos and videos of the offsite and, thanks to serendipitous timing, I met the designer who took me into the main performance room to show off the team’s work. I took a vow not to release the images until the start of press previews on Wednesday night, but now it’s time to reveal them to the world. There will be a special “performance” in this room but that’s a surprise.
As you’ll see, there are Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches Easter Eggs all over the place so keep a close eye out!
