I never knew I needed stories about Hades and Persephone in my life until I discovered author Scarlett St. Clair’s Hades x Persephone series. Imagine my excitement when she announced a brand new series about a princess and the mysterious Vampire King. King of Battle and Blood is the thrilling debut of St. Clair’s Adrian x Isolde series and if you like fantasy worlds, a strong heroine and sexy vampire kings then you’re in for a real treat.
King of Battle and Blood is fast-paced and utterly addictive. Once you start, you can’t put it down. The compulsion to keep moving forward through the story is too strong. St. Clair builds her world quickly, introducing all of the key players early on and then giving them space to tell the story.

Adrian is sexy as hell, alpha to the core, and protective of his people. He admires Isolde and gives her room to become the queen she was born to be, seeing in her qualities that she has yet to discover. Together, they become a formidable pair, but the journey is fraught with peril.
