Steamy streamer Passionflix celebrated a milestone 8th anniversary on September 1. It’s a huge moment for the streaming service that has delivered dozens of film and TV series adaptations of beloved romance novels to eager fans all over the world.
From The Gabriel’s Inferno Series, made up of nine feature-length films based on the bestselling novels by Sylvain Reynard, to K Bromberg’s thrilling Driven series, from tearjerkers like The Air He Breathes to laugh-out-loud romantic comedies like Seduction & Snacks, and even romantic thrillers like The Secret Life of Amy Bensen, Passionflix truly has something for every romance fan.
In an age when contraction and budget cuts have led studios and production companies to scale back their upcoming projects, Passionflix has been moving full-steam ahead (pun fully intended!) on new projects. The latest project, adapting J.R. Ward’s vampire series The Black Dagger Brotherhood into a multi-season series, will be ongoing for years to come, much to fans’ delight.
Passionflix celebrates 8 years
Here’s how Passionflix commemorated the big day on X:

It’s hard to believe how much Passionflix has accomplished in eight years, particularly when you factor in life-changing and industry-changing events like the pandemic and Screen Actors Guild and Writers Guild strikes. Despite the challenges, Passionflix managed to keep pushing ahead to deliver several movies and series even in the most challenging of times.
Passionflix recently wrapped filming of Emma Chase’s Royally Screwed, and we know that more seasons of The Black Dagger Brotherhood are forthcoming as well. With lots of acquisitions in the pipeline, there is no shortage of movies and series in various stages of development and we’re all very excited for everything that’s coming up.
Congratulations to CEO Tosca Musk and the entire Passionflix team on your 8th anniversary. We have no doubt that the best is yet to come! (Another pun fully intended!)
