Maddie McCormick and Casey King in The Secret Life of Amy Bensen
It has been close to two weeks since the first two thrilling episodes of The Secret Life of Amy Bensen premiered on Passionflix and now the third episode is coming January 5. Let’s take a look at what’s coming in episode 3.

The last time we saw Amy (Maddie McCormick) and Liam (Casey King) they’d spent a night together in Amy’s new apartment. Liam gave Amy a ride home and went inside to ensure her safety, but he admitted he didn’t want to leave her alone. Ever the knight in shining armor, he ordered up everything Amy needed in her empty apartment and assured her that he wasn’t going anywhere, and that she could let down her guard with him. Steaminess ensued.
The episode ended with Amy waking up in the morning to find a note from her mysterious protector and Liam nowhere to be seen.
The Secret Life of Amy Bensen Episode 3
Now, in the new teaser for Amy Bensen episode 3, Amy meets her neighbor Jared (Dylan Nunez) and meets her new coworker. Take a look:
Though Amy and Liam are getting closer and closer, there’s no question Amy is still questioning whether or not she can trust him. Finding a package on her kitchen table and Liam gone the morning after he slept at her apartment leaves her with more questions than answers.
One of the things that makes this story so compelling is that it really is Amy versus the world, at least in the beginning. Though Liam is going out of his way to prove his trustworthiness, she’s been through too much to let her guard down completely. With so much happening in each episode it’s easy to forget that it has barely been 48 hours since she abandoned her previous life in New York and assumed her new identity. That said, Amy is doing a great job rolling with the punches, even when the punches come in the form of a handsome but slightly overbearing billionaire architect.
McCormick has given a stellar performance as Amy thus far as she captures Amy’s fear and uncertainty, and also her desire to have some semblance of normalcy with Liam. For his part, King brings Liam to life with the perfect blend of confidence and consideration; at every turn, Liam wants to be sure Amy feels safe with him by checking in frequently.
As a duo, McCormick and King are fantastic and I’m excited to see what happens in the next episode!
