Amy is trying to settle into her new life in Denver, but she’s never known total peace and security and that’s why it’s hard for her to relax. She still has no idea who she’s running from and, most importantly, who she can really trust.
Further complicating the situation is her relationship with Liam. Liam isn’t buying her act. He knows she’s running from something because of the deer-in-the-headlights expression that haunts her. As they’re getting closer, he feels her pulling away and he doesn’t like it. He’s already told her that he’ll do whatever it takes to protect her from whatever she’s running from. But she has to trust him with her secret.
Used to getting his way and controlling every aspect of his life, Liam wants to help but Amy won’t let him in. In fact, the more he pushes, the more she wonders if he might be involved with the people who killed her family. From his tattoo to his drawings, there are way too many coincidences…aren’t there? She starts doing research, hoping to find answers to her questions. Can Amy really trust Liam, or is it time for her to move on again?
