The Secret Life of Amy Bensen is a Passionflix series adapted from Lisa Renee Jones’ 2013 book Escaping Reality: The Secret Life of Amy Bensen. The book spawned a whole series that follows a young woman trying to escape her past in order to survive in the present.
The series premiered on Passionflix in 2022 and featured Maddie McCormick as Amy Bensen and Casey King as Liam Stone, with Georgia Simmons and Dylan Nunez. Tosca Musk and Stacia Crawford shared directing duties.
Here’s the official Passionflix synopsis of The Secret Life of Amy Bensen: “At eighteen, tragedy and a dark secret force Amy to flee all she has known and loves to start a new life. Now years later, just when she lets down her guard, the ghosts of her past are quick to punish her, forcing her back on the run. On a plane, struggling to face the devastation of losing everything again and starting over, Amy meets Liam Stone, a darkly entrancing recluse billionaire, who is also a brilliant, and famous, prodigy architect. The Secret Life of Amy Bensen season 1 episodes
Episode 1: “On a plane, struggling to face the devastation of losing everything again and starting over, Amy meets Liam Stone.”
Episode 2: “Liam escorts Amy to her apartment, where they get to know each other better.”
Episode 3: “Amy meets some new people and learns more about the life she’s been instructed to build in Denver, all while getting closer to Liam.”
Episode 4: “Amy and Liam grow closer as he opens up more about his life. Amy experiences a traumatic flashback, causing her to black out. Liam tries to gain Amy’s trust.”
Episode 5: “Liam meets Jared when he stops by Amy’s apartment. Amy begins opening up to Liam. Liam grows more suspicious of Amy’s boss.”
Episode 6: “On the season finale, Liam has to travel back to New York unexpectedly. Amy experiences a flashback, taking her back to the night she lost her family, injuring herself during the episode. Amy is shocked by something she overhears.”
What about season 2. I have been a member of passion food for year’s am disappointed that they have so few new and continued series or movies. Where they not going to do this man and others I waited years for something new . black daggers was great but what about something else.
