Jesse Ward is on the way! Passionflix released a three-second teaser on Tuesday announcing that the Lord of the Manor, Jesse Ward himself, will be revealed on Friday. Fans have been eagerly awaiting casting news for Jodi Ellen Malpas’ This Man series and the big day has finally arrived.
Jesse and Ava’s story starts in This Man and unfolds through sequels Beneath This Man, This Man Confessed and With This Man. Their relationship isn’t perfect and they both have their flaws, but their love is undeniable and their love story is one for the ages.
Filming is set to begin in 2022 after the pandemic led to delays in production. Once the path to filming cleared up, the focus turned to casting. Finding Jesse Ward was a monumental challenge; the larger than life persona has to be just right. The same can be said of casting Jesse’s soulmate, Ava.
Passionflix: This Man Casting Announcements
Thus far, Passionflix has announced the casting of several key characters, including Jay Hector as Drew, Charles Ambrose as Mikael, Vanessa Pilgrim as Sarah, James Crawford as Patrick, Amato D’Apolito as Mario, Steven Etienne as Tom and Delaney Keith as Kate.
Passionistas know that the Passionflix casting team is second to none when it comes to finding the perfect actors to bring these beloved characters to life. Finding the right actors is key to this process given that there are several books to be adapted and that means a long-term commitment.
All of that hard work to find actors willing to take this journey has paid off already, as fans of Driven and the Gabriel Series know so well. Once introduced, these actors become part of the Passionflix family for life and we’ve all been eager to welcome the This Man family to the fold.
