The latest addition to the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, Talamasca: The Secret Order, centers on a secretive organization tasked with investigating all things paranormal in the world. From hauntings to unexplained phenomena, as well as keeping track of the world’s hidden population of vampires, witches and other supernatural creatures, the agents of the Talamasca live and die by their mission statement: “We watch and we are always there.”

How to watch Talamasca: The Secret Order
Talamasca: The Secret Order premieres Sunday, October 26, at 9pm ET/PT on AMC and AMC Plus.
AMC is usually included with a cable TV subscription, but you can also tune in through streaming services like YouTube TV, Fubo and Sling TV. AMC Plus is a standalone streaming service that requires a paid subscription.
What is the series about?
Dubbed a spy thriller during the show’s San Diego Comic-Con panel, here’s what AMC has revealed about Talamasca: The Secret Order so far: “The six-episode first season of Anne Rice’s Talamasca focuses on a secretive society called the Talamasca, comprised of the men and women responsible for tracking and containing the witches, vampires, and other creatures scattered around the globe.”
Who is in the cast?
Talamasca: The Secret Order features a talented cast with a few familiar faces. The actors are listed below along with the names of their characters and a brief description, provided by AMC:
- Nicholas Denton stars as Guy Anatole: “On the cusp of graduating law school, he is approached by a representative of the Talamasca, a secretive agency that monitors and protects us from the supernatural world. When Guy learns that the Talamasca has been tracking him since his childhood, he falls headlong into a world of secret agents and immortal beings who, up to now, have maintained a fragile balance with the mortal world.”
- Elizabeth McGovern as Helen: “Helen is a seasoned veteran of the Talamasca, and the leader of its New York Motherhouse”
- William Fichtner as Jasper: “Jasper is a mysterious American who has quietly assumed control and influence over the Talamasca’s London Motherhouse.”
- Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Olive: “Olive is a beguiling and ambitious agent of the Talamasca.”
- Celine Buckens as Doris: “Strong-willed and with an old soul, she lives with a coven of witches on a houseboat.”
- Jason Schwartzman as Burton: “Burton is a charming, rakish vampire, leading a cloistered life in a luxurious Upper West Side penthouse.”
During the SDCC panel, fans learned that Eric Bogosian will reprise his Interview with the Vampire role as Daniel Molloy. Bogosian will appear as a guest star in the new series.
In early September, EW confirmed that Justin Kirk will bring his portrayal of Raglan James to Talamasca after originating the character in Interview with the Vampire season 2.
