Sheila demands answers from Li while Liam tells Bill about Grace in The Bold and the Beautiful recap for August 11, 2025.
Our week kicks off in Li’s (Naomi Matsuda) makeshift hospital room, where Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) marvels that Luna (Lisa Yamada) is alive. She’s thrilled.
At Forrester Creations, Will (Crew Morrow) and Electra (Laneya Grace) share a kiss in the CEO office (because why not hang out in the boss’ office while the boss is away!) and he tells her how incredibly sexy she is. She mentions the models they work with and how Luna was throwing herself at him, but he insists he only has eyes for her. He can’t fathom that Luna is gone. Thanks to Will’s brother, Electra notes. They’re both so grateful that the doctors were able to save Liam’s life because he’s a true hero.
Katie (Heather Tom), in the meantime, is in the design office telling Bill (Don Diamont) that while she’s glad Liam is ok, she doesn’t understand why he had to wire a million dollars for the surgery. Bill is nonplussed, telling her that this is how medical science and innovation works. Liam’s future was “gifted” to him by Dr. Grace Buckingham and he’ll be forever grateful.
Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) are pacing in Bill’s living room, furious that Grace scammed them. Hope says that there were so many other ways Grace could have handled the situation, not the least of which is going to the police. Liam gets a text from Finn that Grace just turned herself in. “Good. That’s exactly where she belongs,” Hope says.
Will is frustrated that Liam never would have been shot if he’d been able to stop Luna during the sting operation. Electra says that it wasn’t his fault.
Sheila never thought she’d see Luna again, but here she is getting a second chance at life. She’s grateful, but she doesn’t understand why Li did it. After all Luna did to Finn and Steffy, she doesn’t get it. “Why did you save her?” she asks.
Hope says that what Grace did was horrific and unforgivable, but what’s most important is that Liam is ok and he’s going to be fine. Liam says he needs to call his father. Hope knows how Bill is going to react. Bill answers the phone when Liam calls. He asks Bill to come home because there’s something he needs to discuss that he can’t talk about over the phone. After Liam ends the call, he tells Hope that he hopes Grace is ready because Bill “is about to go nuclear.”
Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) rushes into the CEO office, asking Will and Electra if it’s true about Liam, that he’s going to survive. “Yeah, he is,” Will confirms.
Sheila wants Li to tell her everything. She explains that Grace was working on Sheila’s foot while Finn was working on Liam. Li and Bridget were working on Luna and it struck her that she was working on her niece granddaughter and she had to do something. Sheila realizes that Li couldn’t help herself. Li admits that she thought about the horrible things Luna has done. They’re inexcusable, but Sheila is right and she was feeling things for Luna. Children are born innocent but Li’s sister tainted her and Luna was the victim. She decided to do everything in her power to save her. “You save my granddaughter’s life,” Sheila says in awe.
Liam wonders if there’s a way to get his money back. He gets a sharp pain where the bullet wound in and jokes about Finn not kidding about the recovery. Bill walks in and sees Liam and Hope. “We have a story to tell you,” Liam says. “And you’re going to have a hard time believing it.” Liam tells his father that Finn questioned how unbelievable the surgery and cure were…because none of it was true. Bill is confused at this point. The ball hasn’t dropped yet.
Ivy can’t believe Liam went from having cancer to being shot and then being miraculously cured. That’s a lot for one person to deal with. Electra knows how important Liam is to Ivy, who couldn’t deal with the thought of saying goodbye to him. Ivy has been getting emotional ever since she found out. Electra says part of her gratitude is knowing that Luna is out of their lives forever.
Sheila wants to know why Li took Luna out of the hospital. Li explains that after she healed, there would only be one place to go after — to prison, for the rest of her life. Sheila realizes that Li took her out of the hospital while everyone was focused on the high profile shootings. Now she can recover and have a shot at a real life. But she’s still unconscious and she needs to wake up before it’s too late.
Bill struggles to understand, thinking the surgery didn’t work. “I never had the tumor,” Liam explains. “None of it was real.” Hope interjects, explaining that Grace needed the money to pay off her ex-husband’s gambling debts. It went all the way back to when Liam had the brain bleed. Liam says it was a scam, but Bill says he would have paid anything at all to save his son. Bill puts the pieces together, that it was Reese’s gambling debts that needed to be paid just as he kidnapped Beth to sell her to make money for his debts and told Hope and Liam she was dead. Bill unleashes his fury, realizing that Grace’s very expensive miracle cure was a front to get money from him. Liam is grateful that he doesn’t have cancer and that he’s fine. Bill goes bananas when Liam explains that Grace put him on meds to make it look like he was sick. “That bitch is gonna pay,” Bill seethes. “She’s going to pay dearly. Grace Buckingham will wish she never met me.”
Li says Luna seems to be getting stronger. Sheila says Li will make sure she pulls through, just like she did with Finn. Li makes Sheila promise not to say anything to anyone. Sheila is quick to agree, asking for a moment alone with Luna. She grabs Luna’s hand and tells her she’s strong. “You’ve got my blood running through your veins. Survivor blood.” Sheila pleads with Luna to wake up. Slowly, Luna’s fingers wrap around Sheila’s hand and she calls Li back over. They tell her to wake up and her eyes flutter. When she wakes up, Luna sees them both standing there. Sheila and Li are overjoyed as they tell her that her grandmothers are there for her.
