After years and years as the main villain on The Bold and the Beautiful, Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) has a chance at redemption if she makes the right decision. But will she sacrifice her relationship with her granddaughter?
Sheila was happy to learn that Luna (Lisa Yamada) was alive thanks to Li’s (Naomi Matsuda) intervention. There was a moment when both women saw a chance for Luna to have a bright future. Spared from death and prison, she had a second chance at life. But now Luna is showing that she’s more dangerous than ever before, and it’s Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) who is in danger.
Luna has already done major damage that has rocked The Bold and the Beautiful. Now that she’s been saved from death and spared a return trip to prison, she’s back at her wicked ways. She snuck out and slept with Will while he was intoxicated. Poor Will thought he was sleeping with Electra (Laneya Grace). In reality he was sleeping with a double murderer who was believed to be dead.
After Luna explained how she overserved Will to get him drunk, Sheila was left with a huge dilemma. Luna raped Will. There’s no sugarcoating it. She woke up with a chance to change her ways, and she immediately committed a crime. If she ends up becoming pregnant, it will change the lives of several people around her.
As if that’s not enough, the fact that Sheila has been colluding with Li is going to be a huge problem for her marriage to Deacon (Sean Kanan) once the truth comes out. And it will come out, sooner or later.
Will Sheila turn Luna in on The Bold and the Beautiful?
So that brings us to the idea of Sheila’s redemption. Given Luna’s reluctance to share her secrets with Li, it makes perfect sense that Sheila would pretend to be on Luna’s side so that she can have an inside line on what her granddaughter is up to. But now that she knows Luna has committed a major crime, not to mention the fact that Luna could now be pregnant as a result, it’s up to Sheila to do the right thing.
Sheila loves Luna, but Sheila loves Finn (Tanner Novlan) even more. It’s bad enough that Sheila has been keeping Li’s secret all this time. If she comes clean about what Luna did to Will, there’s a chance that it will redeem her in just about everyone’s eyes, especially after taking a bullet to save Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) from Luna.
If that doesn’t signal that Sheila’s a changed woman, nothing will.
Only time will tell if Sheila makes the difficult decision to do the right thing. Sheila must turn Luna in for what she did to Will. She knows it’s the right thing to do, but she also knows it will put an end to her relationship with Luna, once and for all.
