So, we were right about The Vampire Lestat premiering in either June or August. During the first day of IGN Fan Fest, AMC announced that The Vampire Lestat is coming in June after all. They also gifted fans with an exclusive clip that hints at how the rift between Louis (Jacob Anderson) and Lestat (Sam Reid) happened.

With AMC’s new drama The Audacity wrapping up on Sunday, May 31, the window is open for The Vampire Lestat to premiere on June 7. If that’s the case, then San Diego Comic-Con fans will have a chance to see the cast as the season is winding down.
AMC also debuted a new clip from the series. In it, Lestat is sharing some music with Louis and trying to entice him to join him in Montreal. However, a notification pops up during their call. A new book has been released: Interview with the Vampire. Lestat asks Louis if he knows someone named Daniel Molloy, and things don’t go so well from there.
Take a look:
I have to say, Lestat’s outrage in the bookstore isn’t something I had on my bingo card, but I can’t wait to see more of it.
