The Walking Dead Universe is headed to a brand new destination in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3. After Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) fought their way out of France in season 2, they’re now on a journey through Spain on a mission to find their way home.
At SDCC 2205, AMC announced that the show will end with the fourth season. It will also take place in Spain, which means that everything we see in season 3 is the beginning of the end.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 3 premieres Sunday, September 7, at 9pm ET/PT on AMC and AMC Plus.
AMC is usually included with a cable TV subscription, but you can also tune in through streaming services like YouTube TV, Fubo and Sling TV. AMC Plus is a standalone streaming service that requires a paid subscription.
What is the new season about?
Here’s the official logline from AMC: “Season three will follow Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) as they continue their journey to somehow return home and to the ones they love. As they struggle to find their way back, the path takes them farther astray, leading them through distant lands with ever-changing and unfamiliar conditions as they witness the various effects of the Walker apocalypse.”

Who is in the cast?
Norman Reedus (The Boondock Saints) and Melissa McBride (The Mist) reprise their roles as Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier in season 3.
Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada and Alexandra Masangkay join as series regulars in season three. Additional cast members include Candela Saitta, Hugo Arbués, Greta Fernández, Gonzalo Bouza, Hada Nieto, Yassmine Othman, Cuco Usín and Stephen Merchant.
