Jay Hector hinted in his Instagram story that he will be filming soon with Tyler Cook in the upcoming Passionflix adaptation of Jodi Ellen Malpas’ bestselling This Man.
Hector stars as Drew and Cook stars as Jesse Ward, the Lord of the Manor. Drew is a frequent guest at the Manor and is also one of Jesse’s trusted friends and confidantes. His story plays out through the This Man trilogy, which is all the more reason fans are eager to know that Hector is about to start filming.
Kristy Dawn Dinsmore plays Ava O’Shea, the woman who captures Jesse’s heart. Though Drew is in Jesse’s circle of friends, he develops a friendship with Ava and keeps an eye on her as she navigates life with the larger than life Jesse and his over the top ways.
“For all of you wonderful peoples asking when you will see myself and [Tyler Cook]” together for the first time…. It’s coming and let me tell you; if it’s a follow up to the last time we were together (on Zoom) there will be a lot of alcohol, business chin wagging and barrels of laughs… (All is true except we weren’t drinking) Oh, and tailored suits for the win!” Hector ended the caption with the #ThisManMovie hashtag.
The This Man cast has been having lots of fun, even before filming started. Members of the cast have been interacting on social media, both in character and as themselves, and it’s a treat for fans who are very excited to see this beloved movie come to life.
London-born Hector, whose credits include Hawaii Five-0 and NCIS: Los Angeles, recently starred in an episode of BMF on Starz.
This Man filming is currently underway in the UK, and the movie is set to premiere on Passionflix in December 2022.
