Countdown to Christmas 2022 continues on Hallmark Channel with All Saints Christmas starring Grammy Award winner Ledisi and Roger Cross.
When a social media post is misinterpreted, Lisette Toussaint, an R&B singer (Ledisi), and her music producer ex-boyfriend Matthew (Cross), decide to keep up an act and pretend like they’re engaged as they go home to New Orleans for Christmas. Ledisi performs “Home on Christmas” and “Be There for Christmas.”
Here’s the Who, What and When about All Saints Christmas.
Who is in All Saints Christmas?
Ledisi has been delighting fans with her music for over two decades and was recognized for her work with her first Grammy Award in 2021 for Best Traditional R&B Performance for her song “Anything for You.” She’s been nominated for 14 Grammys and 19 NAACP Image Awards, and she has taken home three Soul Train Music Awards and an NAACP Theatre Award. Filming a holiday movie set in the Big Easy hits close to home for Ledisi, who was born in New Orleans and raised in Oakland, California.
Roger Cross was born in Jamaica and raised in Vancouver. He’d dreamed of being a pilot but ended up working as an extra on movies and shows, and soon he was hooked. Cross is widely known for his role as Curtis Manning, Jack Bauer’s fellow agent, on 24, as well as appearances in recurring roles on shows like The Strain, Continuum, Fringe, Orphan Black, The X-Files, and Stargate SG-1, in addition to many other roles. Earlier this year he appeared in the all-new Hallmark Channel original movie Game, Set, Love.
All Saints Christmas also stars Peter Bryant, Trezzo Mahoro, Tosca Baggoo, Miranda Edwards, Don Mike, Lucia Walters and Darien Martin.
Troy Scott directed the movie based on a script written by Tracy Andreen.
