Well, Beautiful Unwell, it looks like the wait is finally over. The official trailer for The Vampire Lestat (or the erstwhile Interview with the Vampire season 3) is coming on April 22 and the social media teaser for the trailer is incendiary to say the least. In a fuck around and find out way.
Take a look at The Vampire Lestat trailer teaser below:

As you can see, someone isn’t happy with Daniel Molloy’s book. In fact, Lestat (Sam Reid) is pissed. Not only does he scribble in it – “never fucking happened” – he sets the book on fire with a smug look of pure satisfaction on his face.
Interestingly, if you think back to the San Diego Comic-Con 2025 teaser, we know that Daniel (Eric Bogosian) shows Louis (Jacob Anderson) the same copy of the book. At the time, Daniel was laughing off Lestat’s furious response to Louis’ memoirs. That means Lestat had at least two copies of the book, one that he burned and one that he angrily annotated, so at the end of the day Daniel’s the one laughing all the way to the bank and, presumably, the bestseller list.
As the pages burn, we see the message: “Trailer tomorrow.”
That means the wait’s almost over and we’re soon to find out more about the new season, which returns to AMC on Sunday, June 7.
What are you hoping to see in the new trailer? Let us know in the comments!
