The Vampire Lestat is ready to debut his rockstar era! The third season, spinning directly out of the events seen in Interview with the Vampire, feature the titular vampire rewriting his history now that Daniel Molloy’s book has spilled vampire secrets into the mortal world.
The series is executive produced by award-winning producer Mark Johnson, creator, writer and showrunner Rolin Jones, Hannah Moscovitch, along with Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice.
When is The Vampire Lestat premiere date?
The Vampire Lestat premieres Sunday, June 7, at 9pm ET/PT on AMC and AMC+.
What is The Vampire Lestat about?
Here’s the synopsis from AMC:
“In the new rock and roll centric season, the Vampire Lestat goes on an electric multi-city tour while being haunted by ‘muses’ from his wild and rebellious past. As his band’s popularity and star power rises, so does Lestat’s influence over vampires and humans alike, leaving others to contend with Lestat’s power in the face of the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population.”
Who is in The Vampire Lestat?
Sam Reid (The Newsreader) as Lestat de Lioncourt, Jacob Anderson (Game of Thrones) as Louis de Pointe du Lac, Assad Zaman (Hotel Portofino) as Armand, Eric Bogosian (Succession) as Daniel Molloy, Delainey Hayles (Too Close) as Claudia and Jennifer Ehle (Zero Dark Thirty) as Gabriella.
The series also features Sheila Atim (The Woman King) as Akasha, Damien Atkins (Take This Waltz) as Magnus, Ella Ballentine (The Monster) as Baby Jenks, Gopal Divan (Little Voice) as Fareed, Christopher Heyerdahl (Under the Banner of Heaven) as Marius, Jeanine Serralles (Apples Never Fall) as Christine.
Lestat’s band, Satan’s Night Out, features Sarah Swire (Ripple) as TC, Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek) as Larry, Seamus Patterson (Channel Zero) as Alex and Ryan Kattner (Woe) as Salamander.
Whether we see Rashid (Bally Gill) and Young Daniel (Luke Brandon Field) remains to be seen.
How to watch
The Vampire Lestat will air exclusively on AMC and AMC Plus.
AMC is usually included with a cable TV subscription, but you can also tune in through streaming services like YouTube TV, Fubo and Sling TV.
AMC Plus is a standalone streaming service that requires a paid subscription.

Music from The Vampire Lestat
Composer Daniel Hart is responsible for Lestat’s high octane playlist. So far, two songs have been released with the promise of more: “Long Face” and “All Fall Down.”
