JR Ward’s beloved vampire warriors are returning for a second season of Black Dagger Brotherhood. The Passionflix adaptation has been met with rave reviews from fans who loved seeing the sexy vamps come to life. Black Dagger Brotherhood season 2 is based on Ward’s 2006 novel Lover Eternal and features Rhage and Mary’s love story.

We don’t have a premiere date for season 2 just yet. Filming is still ongoing as of this writing. We know that Passionflix plans to release the new season in 2026 and we anticipate an early fall premiere.

What is Black Dagger Brotherhood season 2 about?
Here’s the synopsis of Lover Eternal from JR Ward’s website:
“Within the Black Dagger Brotherhood, Rhage is the warrior vampire with the strongest appetites. He’s the deadliest fighter, the most voracious lover, the quickest to act on his impulses.
