Lacey Chabert is jetting off on an adventure to find love in the all-new Hallmark Plus original series Paris is Always a Good Idea. It’s a story of love and self-discovery during a journey through Paris, Ireland and Spain. The series is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Jenn McKinlay.
“With its rich characters, breathtaking locations and deeply emotional romance, Paris is Always a Good Idea is the beautiful, escapist journey we know Hallmark viewers will fall in love with this summer,” Michelle Vicary, Head of Programming, Hallmark Media, said in a press release.
We kicked off beach season with Hallmark Channel’s annual Summer Nights programming in June. The lineup included A Castle of Our Own with Brennan Elliott and Erica Cerra, The Greek Aisle with Nikki DeLoach and Apostolis Totsikas, Texas Two-Step with Heather Hemmens and Brendan Penny and The Love Heist with Lyndsy Fonseca and Peter Porte. Summer Nights was followed by a series of all-new holiday movies during Christmas in July.
Here’s what you need to know about Paris is Always a Good Idea.
What is Paris is Always a Good Idea about?
Here’s the synopsis from Hallmark Media:
“Career-driven nonprofit executive Chelsea Martin travels to Paris to secure a major donor and is shocked when her confident rival-turned-ally, Jason Knightly is sent to join her. While in Paris, an unexpected and heartfelt message from her late mother — and a push from her father and her sister — sends her on an unexpected journey to reconnect with the three past loves she once left behind in Europe. From the rolling hills of Ireland to the magic of Paris, and the sun-kissed vineyards of Spain, Chelsea retraces old footsteps and discovers that sometimes moving forward means first looking back.”
