It seems like it was only yesterday that the world was introduced to AMC’s Interview with the Vampire. With Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac and Sam Reid as Lestat de Lioncourt, the show debuted to great fanfare and has been a massive hit ever since. Now that The Vampire Lestat has bowed and Queen of the Damned is on the way, we’re feeling a bit nostalgic. IWTV season 1 episode 2 is titled “…After the Phantoms of Your Former Self.” Here’s the episode description: “Beginning his life as a vampire, Louis learns the rules of vampirism from his maker and companion Lestat; Louis discovers increasing differences between himself and Lestat; in Dubai, Louis reveals more of his modern-day vampire lifestyle to Molloy.”
As with the other season 1 photo galleries, you’ll notice that everyone is wearing masks. It’s hard to believe the show was filming during Covid; these photos offer a look at all of the extra precautions that were in place to ensure a safe filming environment.
