Driven: Everything You Need to Know About the Passionflix Series

A whole host of new fans are discovering the Driven series now that it’s available to stream on Netflix. The three-season series is adapted from bestselling author K. Bromberg’s novels. Driven was originally produced by the romance streaming platform Passionflix, with CEO and co-founder Tosca Musk directing. If you’re new to the Driven series, here’s everything you need to know.

The first season is based on the first book in Bromberg’s series, Driven. Season 2 is based on the second book in the series, Fueled, and season 3 is based on the third book, Crashed.

The series initially featured Olivia Applegate as nonprofit executive Rylee Thomas and Casey Deidrick as race car driver Colton Donavan. A scheduling conflict led to Colton’s character being recast for seasons 2 and 3, with Michael Roark taking over the role.
