Line of Fire: Release Date, Cast and Everything We Know About the Peter Krause Series

NBC’s newest procedural, Line of Fire, follows a family of law enforcement officers hunting a killer. The new series comes with a twist: this family represents several different branches of law enforcement. There are two Secret Service agents, a US Marshal, a fed and a DOJ analyst.

The series hails from creator and writer Joshua Safran (Quantico, Gossip Girl), who executive produces along with Jenna Bush Hagar and Ben Spector.

The new series premieres this fall along with a host of other newcomers including Newlyweds on NBC and Crystal Lake and Dig on Peacock.

What is Line of Fire about?

Here’s the synopsis from NBC: “A family of law enforcement agents bridges personal differences and crosses professional boundaries as they tackle cases for the FBI, US Marshals, Secret Service and Department of Justice. After a seemingly cut-and-dry case turns into a deadly conspiracy, they must use the expertise from a lifetime of protecting civilians and politicians to protect one another and bring the killer to justice … even if it means betraying their sworn code.”

Line of Fire features Peter Krause (9-1-1) as Mike Hollingsworth, Hope Davis (Your Honor) as Jane Hollingsworth, Kat Cunning (Purple Hearts) as Clare Hollingsworth, Tommy O’Brien (The Tomorrow War) as Mike “Micah” Hollingsworth Jr, Taylor Bloom (American Horror Story) as Russ Hollingsworth and Charlie Barnett (Chicago Fire).

Creator and writer Joshua Safran executive produces with Jenna Bush Hager and Ben Spector. The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.
