The vampires might be wrapping up this season of The Vampire Lestat but now it’s the witches’ turn to cast a spell. AMC previewed Mayfair Witches season 3 with a first-look teaser following “Montreal,” the penultimate episode of The Vampire Lestat.

As you can see, powerful witch and talented neurosurgeon Dr. Rowan Mayfair (Alexandra Daddario) is weaving magic and medicine in the teaser. She’s in scrubs and it looks like she’s in a hospital facility of some kind. When she waves her hands above the patient, she succumbs to a series of visions. We see familiar faces like Ciprien Grieve (Tongayi Chirisa) and we also see some newcomers to the series.
Season 3 marks a new era for Mayfair Witches as showrunner duties are split between Esta Spalding and Thomas Schnauz. Daddario and Chirisa will be joined once again by the inimitable Harry Hamlin and Alyssa Jirrels, and they’ll be joined this season by Betsy Brandt, Michiel Huisman, James Frain, Eliza Scanlen and Omar Maskati.
Here’s the season 3 synopsis provided by AMC: “The series’ third season, set in Salem, MA, will dive deeper into the mythology of witchcraft, introduce new ‘spellbound’ families and feature some of the historical happenings of Salem, the infamous town of witch trials and folklore.”
As the teaser reveals, Mayfair Witches season 3 will be coming to our screens at some point in 2027. While we don’t have a date yet, we’re guessing that the show will premiere in January if previous seasons are any indication.
