First Look at The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 4

AMC has release a new teaser and first look photos from The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon season 4. The series debuts in 2027, with a premiere date as yet to be announced. The four stills and teaser feature Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon and Melissa McBride as Carol Pelletier, and even though they’re still in Spain it looks like they are in some uncharted territory. Season 4 marks the end of the road for Daryl Dixon, and even though Daryl and Carol’s journey is coming to an end, there is still plenty of ground to cover.

The final season features lots of familiar faces, including Romain Levi, Eduardo Noriega, Óscar Jaenada, Candela Saitta and Hugo Arbués. Jimmy Smits (NYPD Blue) joins the cast as Captain Alejandro Perkins.

Here’s the synopsis from the final season: “In the final season, while crossing the ravaged badlands of Spain, Daryl (Reedus) and Carol (McBride) grasp onto hope – and each other – as uncertainty about their future grows. Smits plays Captain Alejandro Perkins, a former U.S. Navy officer and medical doctor who found a unique way to thrive during the apocalypse.”

As you can see in this first look photo, Daryl Dixon finds himself in a hospital and we can imagine that this is where he connects with Captain Perkins, for better or for worse….

We have no idea if Carol is nearby or not, but if Daryl is injured then we can only imagine she’s going to make whoever is responsible pay for it.

We have no context for this next photo, but we’re curious about the costume. What is it for, and who is wearing it? We know that the survivors in Spain have lots of traditions and customs developed over the years to cope with the apocalypse. Is this a look at another community’s customs, or is it something else entirely?
