It seems like it was only yesterday that the world was introduced to AMC’s Interview with the Vampire. With Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac and Sam Reid as Lestat de Lioncourt, the show debuted to great fanfare and has been a massive hit ever since. Now that The Vampire Lestat has bowed and Queen of the Damned is on the way, we’re feeling a bit nostalgic. IWTV season 1 episode 7 is titled “The Thing Lay Still.” Here’s the episode description: “The vampire family plans to leave town after a big Mardi Gras ball; Claudia and Louis operate outside of Lestat’s knowledge; in Dubai, Louis reveals a new element to the interview that changes everything.”
As with the other season 1 photo galleries, you’ll notice that everyone is wearing masks. It’s hard to believe the show was filming during Covid; these photos offer a look at all of the extra precautions that were in place to ensure a safe filming environment.
