After Beauty From Pain quickly became a runaway hit, Passionflix announced that the sequel, Beauty From Surrender, is now in production. Georgia Cates trilogy, The Beauty Series, was optioned several years ago, with the first installment arriving on the platform in December 2025.
Featuring Samantha Allsop (Thor: Love and Thunder) as Laurelyn Prescott and Jackson Gallagher (Playing for Keeps) as Jack McLachlan, the first installment of Laurelyn and Jack’s love story garnered a lot of love from fans. In our review, we noted that Beauty From Pain was “another Passionflix triumph”

As you can see, the good folks at Passionflix not only made the filming announcement, they also included a clip of the scene where Jack realizes that Laurelyn has returned home to the United States, leaving him alone.
Here’s the synopsis of Beauty From Surrender from Cates’ website:
“After Laurelyn Prescott walks away from the love of her life, she returns to Nashville to pursue the only dream she has left. Determined to find a distraction from the pain of losing Jack Henry, she immerses herself in her music. But with her old life comes old acquaintances and new expectations.
