In the season premiere, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) are no closer to being friends, but they’re also far from the bitter enemies they used to be. Maggie is trying to protect her son, Hershel (Logan Kim), after facing off against the Dama and the Croat last season. They’re all trying to survive the best they can. When they meet Aimee Garcia (Renata), Raúl Castillo (Luis) and Jimmi Simpson (Dillard), everything changes. Maybe for the better.
