When Passionflix adapted Lisa Renee Jones’ The Secret Life of Amy Bensen into a series, it became an instant hit on the romance streaming platform. Fans adored Maddie McCormick’s portrayal of the titular character, and Casey King smoldered as the enigmatic Liam Stone. Now, fans can catch the first episode of the series for free on the Passionflix YouTube page.

The series follows Amy, a young woman who has been on the run since the horrifying death of her family. She never stays in one place long enough to get close to anyone, partly out of fear for herself and also because she’s afraid of someone else she cares about getting hurt. When she finds herself sitting beside the charming Liam Stone on a plane, she finds herself slowly opening up to the one man who might be able to help her.
The series also stars Dylan Nunez and Georgia Simmons.
The Passionflix adaptation features two seasons with six episodes each season. There are four books in Jones’ Amy Bensen series: Escaping Reality, Infinite Possibilities, and Unbroken. (There’s a fourth book told from Amy’s brother’s point of view) Passionflix adapted the first two books and fans are desperately hoping that the third book is eventually developed into a series as well.
