The Vampire Lestat is returning to San Diego Comic-Con 2026 with a panel presentation on July 24 in Hall H. Now that we know the vampires will be there, we have questions.
Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman and Eric Bogosian will represent the vampire contingency at the panel, with Rolin Jones, Mark Johnson and Hannah Moscovitch representing the production team. Sam Reid is performing in the Sydney Theatre Company’s production of Doubt: A Parable; it’s likely that he’ll have a taped message for fans.
Now that we know The Vampire Lestat will be at SDCC, I have a list of questions I’m hoping will be answered at the panel.

- Will there be another season of The Vampire Lestat….
- Or will the story be moving directly into Queen of the Damned?
- Has casting for the next season happened yet?
- Given that the Devil’s Minion story takes place in Queen of the Damned, will Armand (Zaman), Daniel (Bogosian) and Young Daniel (Luke Brandon Field) get their own Devil’s Minion spinoff to air before QOTD? (I’m hoping that Night Island has been retooled into a Devil’s Minion series after the fan response to Zaman, Bogosian and Field’s performances)
- Are there other spinoffs tied to the vampires coming out in the Anne Rice Immortal Universe?
- Could Talamasca be revived?
- Will we ever see Jasper (William Fichtner) again?
- Are there any crossovers from Mayfair Witches or Talamasca planned for the next season of The Vampire Lestat?
- Are there plans for more The Vampire Lestat concerts in the future?
- Will the vampires of the Anne Rice Immortal Universe ever have their own unique adventures outside of book canon?
- Will upcoming seasons ever have more than 7-8 episodes each?
- For Mark Johnson, how long is this wonderful ride with the vampires going to last?
