American Horror Story: 13 – Synopsis, Cast, Release Date and How to Watch

The American Horror Story franchise is celebrating a milestone. After 12 thrilling seasons, it’s time to ring in lucky season 13. American Horror Story: 13 features an all-star lineup of former cast members celebrating all 12 seasons of the show. Each of the 13 episodes will pay homage to the past while brewing a chilling new story that’s sure to delight longtime fans as well as newcomers to the franchise.

Creator Ryan Murphy set the record straight about the milestone season while promoting his new show, The Shards. “Everybody thinks it’s a Coven season and it’s not. It’s all the seasons,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “Sarah Paulson is playing six or seven roles. Jessica Lange is playing all four of her iconic characters. Evan Peters is playing five characters… It is like the Avengers. They all come together to defeat the ultimate evil.”

The 12 seasons leading up to AHS: 13 are Murder House, Asylum, Coven, Freak Show, Hotel, Roanoke, Cult, Apocalypse, 1984, Double Feature, NYC and Delicate.

Who is in it?

AHS: 13 is the franchise’s biggest season ever so it’s no surprise that it features a star-studded cast. Returning to the AHS fold are Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Alex Consani and Paul Anthony Kelly.

How to watch American Horror Story: 13

American Horror Story: 13 premieres Thursday, September 24, at 9pm ET/PT on FX. New episodes will be available to stream the following day on Hulu. Fans outside of the US will be able to tune in on Disney+.
