It was a bittersweet day for the Passionflix team and for Passionistas everywhere as filming on Gabriel’s Redemption came to an end. The third book in Sylvain Reynard’s beloved Gabriel Series features the next chapter in the lives of Julia (Melanie Zanetti) and Gabriel (Giulio Berruti).
Not surprisingly, members of the Passionflix family shared messages about the “bittersweet” day on social media.

Passionflix CEO and Gabriel Series director Tosca Musk shared a behind the scenes look at the final scenes being filmed. Sure enough, Zanetti can be seen in a hospital bed with Berruti at her side; fans know that Redemption ends with the Emersons becoming proud parents to Baby Clare.

Most Passionflix movies and series work on block shooting schedules, which means scenes are shot together based on location and cast members. With Gabriel’s Redemption, though, it just so happened that the final scenes of the book were filmed on the last day of filming, making it all the more special for the cast and crew that have been working together for over three years. Filming for Redemption started in October 2022 and took a break for the holidays before resuming again in the New Year.
What Comes After Gabriel’s Redemption?
It’s currently unclear whether Passionflix will option Gabriel’s Promise, the fourth book in Reynard’s Gabriel Series that was released in 2020. While fans would love to see the final chapter of Gabriel and Julia’s story come to life onscreen, there’s no denying that Gabriel’s Redemption will deliver a fitting conclusion to Gabriel and Julia’s love story. (It was, after all, the original end to their story until Gabriel’s Promise came along)
There’s also the possibility that Passionflix could option one of Reynard’s other series, namely the Florentine Series, which dovetails with the Gabriel Series and features many character crossovers. (If you haven’t read the Florentine Series, be sure to check out The Prince, the novella that introduces a tantalizingly mysterious new character who has a brief, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo in Gabriel’s Redemption)
Now that filming has come to an end, the movies head into post-production. As with Gabriel’s Inferno and Gabriel’s Rapture, Redemption will also end up as a trilogy of three feature-length films, with the first installment targeted for release later this year.

I have watched Gabreils Infurno and Gabreils rapture over and over it is such a beautiful series and Giulio and Melanie were absolutely superb fantastic love love can’t wait for redemption

Melanie and Giulio are both very talented actors . I have watched it over and over it almost makes the film seem real.
I have now watched the final Redemption film fantastic I hope the final book the promise is made.
