New York Comic Con 2026 just announced its programming schedule for the upcoming event. AMC has a huge lineup at NYCC but there is one show missing from their panels.
AMC is poised to have a big presence at NYCC with the final season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, Mayfair Witches season 3 and two new series: YAGA and Kill Jackie. There will also be a Shudder panel celebrating the Season of Screams as well as a panel devoted to The Boulet Brothers.
Noticeably absent from the schedule are The Vampire Lestat and Queen of the Damned. The Anne Rice vampires are currently between seasons and won’t be making an appearance at the convention.

Shudder Is Here to Scare the S— Out of You! Celebrating the Season of Screams
Shudder special guests join for a discussion on the current state of horror, what scares us the most, and the future of the genre, including a look back at the year, exclusive first looks and and what’s to come to the streamer. Saturday, October 10th, 6:30 PM, Room 405
No Panel for The Vampire Lestat or Queen of the Damned at NYCC
Though disappointing for fans of Anne Rice’s vampires, it makes sense that the vamps would sit NYCC 2026 out. After announcing Queen of the Damned (aka Interview with the Vampire season 4) at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, there hasn’t been much movement in terms of production. Of course, while the cast wouldn’t have a lot to talk about when it comes to the upcoming season, there is certainly plenty to talk about The Vampire Lestat’s brilliant season. NYCC could have been a chance to feature the band and some of the other characters in the vampire universe.
Alas, we’ll have to wait until 2027 for more news about the vampires. However, there’s plenty to look forward to with AMC’s NYCC lineup and we can’t wait to learn more in the coming weeks.
