The Vampire Lestat wasn’t eligible to be nominated for a Primetime Emmy in 2026, but the series is up for Best Series at the 2026 FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards and you have one more day to vote. Voting for the 2026 FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards closes on July 15. Be sure to weigh in and make sure that your voice is heard!
You can find the full list of nominees here. Some of the categories you’ll be voting in include Best Wide Release, Best Director, Best Streaming Premiere, Best First Feature and Best Creature FX.
As you can see, The Vampire Lestat is nominated for Best Series along with Alien: Earth, The Creep Tapes, Something Very Bad is Going to Happen and Widow’s Bay. Voting for the 2026 FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards closes Wednesday, July 15, at 11:59pm PT. Fans will have one final opportunity to cast their ballots at fangoria.com/vote.
Winners will be announced at the FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards on October 25. The ceremony will be broadcast on Shudder.
According to the press release, the Fangoria Chainsaw Awards have been around since 1992. “The FANGORIA Chainsaw Awards are a cornerstone of horror culture, spotlighting genre-defining performances and uniting fans and filmmakers across the globe. The awards continue to recognize bold, visionary work while championing artists often overlooked by traditional honors. Past winners include Wes Craven, George A. Romero, Lupita Nyong’o, Elisabeth Moss, Mia Goth, and Jordan Peele. Today, the Chainsaw Awards serve as both a time capsule and a launchpad for horror’s most unforgettable moments.”
FANGORIA will host the First in Fright with FANGORIA panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 featuring members of the FANGORIA team, special guest Devon Sawa and several surprise guests.
