Noah Reid Heading to SDCC 2026, But Not for The Vampire Lestat

Noah Reid is coming to San Diego Comic-Con 2026, but he won’t be part of The Vampire Lestat panel. Instead, he’s coming in support of his new AMC+ thriller series, YAGA. Here’s what we know about his SDCC appearance and his new show.

Reid (Schitt’s Creek), who is fresh off of his role as Larry in The Vampire Lestat, stars in YAGA, a mystery thriller based on the play by Kat Sandler. He’s joined in the cast by Hudson Williams (Heated Rivalry), Clark Backo (Venom: The Last Dance, Letterkenny) and Carrie-Anne Moss (Matrix Films, Memento).

AMC provided this information about YAGA: “Based on the play by Sandler, YAGA reimagines the Slavic folk tale of the Baba Yaga witch, as a contemporary mystery thriller. It follows Rapp (Reid), a private investigator who arrives in a small coastal town to investigate the disappearance of a young heir to a powerful fishery, Henry Park (Williams). Rapp finds himself at odds with an apprehensive local detective, Carson (Backo); a charismatic university professor, Katherine (Moss) and a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects, secret lives and ancient magic. YAGA is an original series from Canadian streamer Crave, produced by Blink49 Studios and Front Street Pictures in association with Bell Media. YAGA is distributed internationally by Sphere Abacus, a Bell Media company.”

YAGA is produced by Crave, the same Canadian streamer that brought us Heated Rivalry.

Reid, Backo and Moss will be in attendance at SDCC. The YAGA panel takes place Saturday, July 25, at 12:30pm PT in the Indigo Ballroom. They’ll be joined by showrunner and executive producer Kat Sandler, with our favorite moderator Damian Holbrook (TV Guide Magazine and TV Insider) leading the panel discussion. Fans in attendance will be treated to a preview of the new series.
