YAGA is Coming to SDCC 2026: What to Know

A brand new series is coming to Crave and AMC+ later this year, but the first stop for YAGA is San Diego Comic-Con 2026. Described as a mystery thriller, YAGA is a Crave original series adapted from Kat Sandler’s play of the same name. Read on to learn more about the show and the big SDCC panel, where fans will have a chance to get a sneak peek.

What is YAGA about?

Here’s the synopsis of YAGA from AMC+: “Based on the play by Kat Sandler, YAGA reimagines the Slavic folk tale of the Baba Yaga witch as a contemporary mystery thriller. It follows Rapp (Noah Reid), a private investigator who arrives in a small coastal town to investigate the disappearance of a young heir to a powerful fishery, Henry Park (Hudson Williams). Rapp finds himself at odds with an apprehensive local detective, Carson (Clark Backo); a charismatic university professor, Katherine (Carrie-Ann Moss) and a labyrinth of enigmatic suspects, secret lives and ancient magic. YAGA is an original series from Canadian streamer Crave, produced by Blink49 Studios and Front Street Pictures in association with Bell Media. YAGA is distributed internationally by Sphere Abacus, a Bell Media company.”

The YAGA panel at SDCC will take place Saturday, July 25, from 12:30pm to 1:30om at the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront.

Cast members in attendance include Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek, The Vampire Lestat), Clark Backo (Venom: The Last Dance, Letterkenny), and Carrie-Anne Moss (Matrix Films, Memento) and they’ll be joined by Showrunner and Executive Producer Kat Sandler.

Hudson Williams (Heated Rivalry) is not slated to appear at the panel, but it’s very possible he’ll have a video message for fans.

TV Guide Magazine and TV Insider’s Damian Holbrook will serve as moderator of the panel discussion.

The panel will not be livestreamed for viewers at home, but it’s highly likely that both Crave and AMC+ will record it to air at a later date.
